FRAMING
MAIN STREET GALLERY started as "The Framer" upstairs in the Dinkel Building in the center of Carbondale. That was in 1982. Owner/Printmaker Frank Norwood had been framing etchings for his own shows and found that he was framing more and more art work for friends and other artists. A greater concentration on conservation framing led to the opening of the second gallery and framing faciliy in downtown Glenwood Springs in 1992.
As the area has grown, MAIN STREET GALLERY & THE FRAMER has become an important source of art and museum quality framing in western Colorado. In 28 years, with our excellent staff of six, we have framed well over 25,000 pieces and continue to provide fine art and framing services to the finest designers, businesses, galleries and individuals in western Colorado.
